"In the footsteps of the famous painter Michael von Munkácsy, Lajhi, an adventurous Berlin-based artist, introduces the Hungarian social loneliness to the local audience from a personal perspective. Their most significant feature is to dealing with dark brown shades in order to create an enigmatic and gloomy atmosphere. They are creating intimate portrays of the female lower body. Lajhi is aiming to refer to the provincial art of the 19’s century. Their conceptual aspirations are to break out from the strict gender feminist bubble, and they are aiming to reinterpret the traditions of the Christian imagery in order to rebellion against every kind of dogma."
